Sleeps 8/10 (ie 8 in comfort, plus a couple of folding (but perfectly comfortable) beds.
We will provide all the sheets and towels and the cost is included. Please try to to leave the place reasonably clean and tidy as there's very little time to get the place spruced up for our next guests. We will send you the keys well before you set off. |

Helping you choose but no weather guarantees! Nov - Feb It can be quite chilly this time of year but a lot warmer than England (it's a bad year if there's any frost). You might expect to be eating lunch in the sun but it will be nippy at night. There is a wood burner and plenty of electric fires. Mar - April Probably the best time of year. You can expect it to be warm (but not too warm ) and sunny. Also the sites won't be too crowded. May - Oct The beginning and end of the season are very pleasant. Good weather and all the cafes will have tables outside. July/August will be hot but the pool makes a tremendous difference. The house is designed to maximise air movement (one day we will have air conditioning…). Xmas Enough said. A pretty good chance of sunshine but bring warm clothes. And you can buy turkeys locally (though not a big as you're used to).

Seville
|
This is the nearest airport (90 km) and the easiest drive (well under an hour, good road). Easyjet have restarted flights and there is usually one flight a day. See getting from the airport to see how to reach the house.

| Car hire | It's cheapest and most sensible to book a hire car from home. Best agency is DoYouSpain.com who are friendly and efficient. It is well worth emailing them and asking for a return full deal (usually only available for three day stays). You don't want a big car – you'll be visiting lots of places where the streets are narrow. Do go for the excess waiver insurance when you collect the car, that way there's no hassle over whether you've scratched the paintwork or not. | |||||||||||||
| Train |
Yup, you can get a train, Osuna is remarkably well served being on the way to Seville. Timetables are available at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/ingles.html and there's a good map of the local network at http://www.renfe.es/mediadistancia/mapa_andalucia.html To give you an (historical) idea, there were trains from Málaga centro direct to Osuna at the following times - check up date times!. From the airport, take a cab, bus (#19) or a local train to Málaga centro and then the connection to Osuna. The house is about a 10 minute walk (along Avenida de la Estación which turns into Mancilla, over Plaza de Salitre into Antequera, 2nd turn on the left). |

Some visitors have highly recommended a British-run. Malaga-based taxi service (www.b-met.com , info@b-met.com ; 0034 670651449 or 0034 697380926) who will pick you up at Malaga airport, take you to Osuna and bring you back at the end of your holiday. Guide price would be 260€ for one to six people |
